Less to figure out at the hardest part of the day.
Two printable guides to help you prepare screen endings and share the household work that keeps coming back to you. Start with one routine or one job, using scripts and worksheets already laid out for you.
$29 one-time purchase. Both guides for just $5 more than either guide alone. Save $19 compared with buying both separately for $48.
Instant PDF download. Nothing ships. 30-day money-back guarantee.
Screens may help keep the kids occupied while you cook, work, or care for someone else. When screen time ends, someone still needs to choose the next activity and help with the change.
If that planning always falls to you, it becomes one more household job to manage. The Kit gives you guidance for the screen routine and a way to discuss who takes responsibility for it.
Example of using the two guides together: owning Tuesday's screen ending can include checking the time, setting out the drawing materials, giving the cue, and helping the child afterward.
A prepared screen ending. Decide when the session ends and what comes next. The guide gives you wording to try and helps you choose an activity that fits your child and the adult help available.
A complete household handoff. See a worked library-return example: who checks the due date, arranges the return, sets the reminder, and follows up. Then use the blank sheet for a job in your home.
Both sample pages are in the image gallery above, at readable size.
The Screen Time Reset. A 32-page guide with a flexible 14-day practice plan, the First Night Fix, a Family Media Agreement, 66 activity ideas, prepared scripts, and guidance for hard days and different family needs.
The Mental Load Handoff. A 28-page guide with a five-minute starting exercise, a 120-task inventory, the Imbalance Snapshot, conversation scripts, a worked handoff example, reusable ownership sheets, and the Sunday Sync Sheet.
You can read both on a device and print the pages you want to use.
The Calm Week Planner — available with the Kit — gives you one shared place to record screen routines and household responsibilities for the week.
Use the Calm Week Planner to keep your chosen screen routine and the person responsible for it beside the other household jobs for the week. It sets the week out day by day, with space for what ends each day's screen time on one side and who owns what on the other, plus a short weekly review agenda. Review it together and change the plan when life changes.
If screens are the immediate problem, begin with page 2 of The Screen Time Reset.
If the remembering is wearing you down, begin with one job on page 2 of The Mental Load Handoff.
Add the second guide when it helps with the next problem. A shared handoff needs another adult to agree to take responsibility; the guide helps you make that request clear.
Choose the Kit if both screen routines and household planning need attention. For $5 more than one guide, you have both sets of tools available.
If only one problem matters right now, choose the relevant $24 guide. The screen plan is designed mainly for school-age children. The household handoff tools work best when another capable adult is willing to take part.

What do I get? The Screen Time Reset is a 32-page PDF guide. The Mental Load Handoff is a 28-page PDF guide. Each includes its printable tools. The Kit also includes the Calm Week Planner. Nothing physical is mailed.
Do I have to read or print everything first? No. Start with page 2 of the guide you need. Read on your phone, tablet, or computer, then print only the sheets you want to use. The files are US Letter size; choose Fit when printing on A4. The worksheets are designed for writing on paper, not as interactive fillable forms.
Can I start without my partner? You can name the work and prepare a request on your own. Sharing ownership requires another adult to agree and follow through. The Mental Load Handoff gives you wording, examples, and a worksheet to make that conversation more specific.
Is this another project I have to manage? You can begin with one routine or one job. For a household handoff, the adult receiving the job records the next action and sets their own reminder. For screen time, choose a next activity that fits the adult help you have. You do not have to set up every tool at once.
Do I need both guides? Choose the guide that matches the problem you want to work on. If both matter, the Kit gives you both for $29 — only $5 more than either $24 guide. You can start with one and use the other later.
